> i recently patched in easycolor from the contrib from the ftp site > it works fine but when i type something like: say &R Hi...........it say > hi in red but then all text turns red and stays red until i type > look......any ideas why that would happen? You've really gotta read your code... The easycolor patch uses the & command line... i.e. if you type &rHi it'll come out in red...then bleed the screen... You need to close the command. I.e. &rtesting&n --- close with a &n... When you wish to use an ampersand in the mud, you need to double it up...i.e. me && my friend will appear me & my friend. If colour ever bleeds, type &n to fix it, or look or *most* muds. -Caniffe. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Julian Buckley, 2nd Year Computer Systems Engineering Dept.
