I have experienced a bug too with the ASCII pfiles. I have the older version for 3.0bpl11. Whenever I try to convert the old pfile, it gives me the following error: writing: pfiles/k/khaine writing: pfiles/<GERMAN "Y">/<GERMAN "Y">[6stargate.orion.boden.se error opening output file: No such file or directory Not the the GERMAN "Y"'s are indeed the ascii-char, not the text I wrote. Something is awfully wrong here. If it might help, we are running this MUD on a UNIX machine (FreeBSD). _______________ () Christoffer ) | ~~~~~~~~~~~ | | Implementor | | o f | | Legends | | | | stargate. | | orion. | | boden. | | se 5007 | | ___________ | ()______________) +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://qsilver.queensu.ca/~fletchra/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
