[BUG] Ascii Pfiles

I think I found a bug in ascii player files.
Whenever I create a character with 3 characters in his/her name, the MUD
crashes. (ie "Bob")
Anyone else notice this problem with bpl12 or bpl14?
Is there a fix for this?
Help me ;)
