Using ASCII pfiles and Oasis Olc #.0circle bpl15 After adding new places to wear eq, the medit seems to crash for me. (Oasis Olc) I did a grep on both feet and FEET, and added the new place to all the places i could find the feet place at. This seem to work pretty good, until i try to use the olc. Redit and Oedit work good, but not medit. When trying to medit any mob, the game crashes, and i get this with the gdb: #0 0x4009f626 in chunk_free (ar_ptr=0x4012f580, p=0x8183948) at malloc.c:3006 #1 0x4009f38d in chunk_alloc (ar_ptr=0x4012f580, nb=128) at malloc.c:2515 #2 0x400a0294 in __libc_calloc (n=121, elem_size=1) at malloc.c:3574 #3 0x80a44f6 in str_dup ( source=0x81338c8 "Is that some type of differntial curve involving some strange, and\r\nunknown calculus that she seems to be made out of?\r\n") at utils.c:89 #4 0x807f7a8 in copy_mobile_strings (t=0x8183808, f=0x812b2c0) at genmob.c:203 #5 0x807f433 in copy_mobile (to=0x8183808, from=0x812b2c0) at genmob.c:128 #6 0x8090bae in medit_setup_existing (d=0x817f238, rmob_num=0) at medit.c:114 #7 0x8093819 in do_oasis (ch=0x817f9d0, argument=0xbffff891 " 1", cmd=143, subcmd=3) at oasis.c:227 #8 0x8089be7 in command_interpreter (ch=0x817f9d0, argument=0xbffff88c "medit 1") at interpreter.c:765 #9 0x8070c09 in game_loop (mother_desc=3) at comm.c:751 #10 0x8070218 in init_game (port=4000) at comm.c:356 #11 0x8070195 in main (argc=3, argv=0xbffffc14) at comm.c:320 #12 0x4005ecb3 in __libc_start_main (main=0x806ff30 <main>, argc=3, argv=0xbffffc14, init=0x8048fe0 <_init>, fini=0x80a7cfc <_fini>, rtld_fini=0x4000a350 <_dl_fini>, stack_end=0xbffffc0c) at ../sysdeps/generic/libc-start.c:78 (gdb) Shrug... anyone added new places to wear eq and using the oasis olc? ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://qsilver.queensu.ca/~fletchra/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
