Personally, I've not used a lot of graphical mapping programs. Recently, though, a friend of mine told me of one called AutoREALM, which was really designed to create maps for paper RPGS, but could also double for doing MUD maps. Having tried it, I found the interface and all to be fairly clean and functional, and the product to be quite nice. The URL follows: http://members.iex.net/~gryc/download.htm If you follow the above link, scroll down about half a page and click on 'autorlm.zip'. If need be, I can forward on a small map or two I've done, off list of course, for demonstrative purposes. Hope this helps. -Geoff =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Geoff Davis --- Software Engineer --- Interlogix, Inc. --- Boca Raton, FL HmM: azrael@laker.net WkM: geoff.davis@casi-rusco.com WkP: 561.912.5943 "Buildings burn - people die - but real love is forever." -- The Crow =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://qsilver.queensu.ca/~fletchra/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
