So far, I agree with all the ideas everyone has submitted.
The only thing I would like to stress, would be the 'pfdb.c'
idea Brandon Bennett had. That would sure make modifications,
as well as hand-patching a LOT easier.
Let's face it, when you're done, most of us on this list will
try to hand-patch it in ASAP.
