Okie.. figured out the problem, I just don't know how to fix it..
It's killing them to fast, and attempting to damage the corpse.

Please help :-)

(also, if anyone cares.. the dos2unix proggy screwed up my
lib/misc/messages file.. and various world files.. bleh.. a lesson
learned.. of course, I had backups though.)
