You're talking about two different beasts here.  Most (all) of the preceding
replies have attempte to deal w/ running circle at startup.  My suggestion
grab a initscript for something else (say xfs). Dismantle it, study it and
make a better one for circle. Finally, send it to George.
As for making it configurable from linuxconf hit the manuals. Study
Linuxconf modules. Remember it's nonportable. 8-)
