max area number

I just downloaded a recent copy of circle, i made 1 room, 16001 and put it
in.  No prob.  I changed it to 18701, I got the outside of any zone.
In the code or somewhere else there must be something that defines the
max area number, and I am not talking about 'nr >= 99999'.  Maybe there 
must be a .zon file for the last zone number you use???  I'll go try that
now, but if anyone knows, please let me know, thanks in advance.
