The idea of Room Affects was mentioned here by The Arrow, and I am hoping that a few veteran circle programmers who know a lot more about C than I can help me write up a system. I would like room affects to be similar to player affects in that they have time limits. In a way, I want spell affects to also be able to affect rooms. For example: The spell darkness. Casting it on a room will make the room gain RAFF_DARK for say 1 tick/level of caster. Then all I have to do is patch up the CAN_SEE to check if the room is dark or not. Another example is the Wall of Fog spell that was tossed in to give the Room Affect idea. I haven't the foggiest (excuse the pun) idea how to even start to code this, and would appreciate any help I can get. This could even be something to add into the next version of Circle 3.0 :) The Husband and Wife team from heck!
