12/08/95 - In battle, your Armor Class will now affect how much damage is done to you, for every 1 point of armor that you get, the damage done on you will be reduced by 1 point. I have a question.. AC in CircleMUD can be .. -10109120.. if a mob does 20 damage, you are invulnerable if you have a good enough AC.. AC already affects if you get hit or not.. in D&D.. if you get hit by an ogre, and you have -10 ac.. and he rolls say 20 damage, you would suffer 20 damage, ac shouldn't affect damage done, IMHO... there should be a chance he hits a strong spot or something, and does maybe half damage, but reducing damage 1 for every point of AC is just too outrageous... my 25 pecos Nashak Brian Williams The Realms of Luminari nashak@darkstr.com bmw@efn.org darkstr.com 6969 +-----------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://cspo.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list_faq.html | +-----------------------------------------------------------+
