The problem isn't so much if comp-A and comp-B can talk to the internet,
it's if comp-A and comp-B can talk to eachother.  Can you successfully
ping one from the other?  Telnet back & forth?  If not (especially the
pinging) then it's a routing problem.

As for the mud...
run it on comp-A.  Test it from comp-A.

As for what tabs where in which window, I dunno; I do *nix myself.
